These Rates & Schedules Effective 14 March 2002

   There are various rates for different services we provide. We'll attempt to break these down and follow them with brief descriptions to help you better understand "The Overall Picture".

   Please remember, these are the rates we charge if the product or service is purchased individually, if we are contracted to build and host your web site, these charges will combine into the estimate and will greatly reduce.

   These rates (where applicable) are broken down into hourly charges, but there are other options available including monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual contracts, bids, and flat rate. There are also things you can do to keep costs down which are described in other areas of our web site.

• Domain Registration Fee: $35.00 for two (2) years registration and yearly renewals are $17.50 per year thereafter. This fee is required to register a "Domain Name" of your choice (subject to availability). Everyone who owns a Web Domain Name has to pay this fee. Our fees are 50% lower than those charged by Network Solutions/VeriSign, and other large national registration services. • Server Set-Up Fee: A one time fee of $50.00 covers the time required to set up and test your domain on our servers. This fee also includes setting up e-mail accounts to work with your domain name.

     Transferring an existing Domain to our server may also be included in this fee, however some domain transfers take additional time due to the way they were initially set up, lack of current contact information and unwillingness of current servers to assist in the transfer. In these cases, additional charges (time used at current hourly rates) will apply.

• Virtual Hosting: $21.95 per month if paid by subscription on PayPal^® or $18.00 per month, paid in advance for twelve (12) months: $216.00, a 18% savings.

• Sub Hosting: $10.98 per month if paid by subscription on PayPal^® or $9.00 per month, paid in advance for twelve (12) months: $108.00, a 18% savings.

• Web Consultation: Initial Phone Consultation for a company, organization, or person without an existing web site to determine their needs is free. If you have an existing web site which is not working well for you, we will look at it and make general recommendations for enhancement at no charge.

     We will be happy to make detailed suggestions for enhancing a current web site. However consultation is billed at $65.00 per hour, the same rate we charge to do the work. This charge became necessary due to the number of folks calling us for specific information on web design, using our experience and expertise, so they could do their own web work. Since we can not and will not pass this expense in lost production hours to our customers, we "Will" charge for it.

• Web Design, Consultation, Construction, Maintenance, Administration Can be billed at $65.00 per hour, by bid, by contract, or flat rate. Call for more details on which option best suits your company/organization needs.

• Web Based E-Mail Forms Included in the standard costs as listed above.

• Digital Photography (if the job is local), Custom Graphics, Graphic Animations, Photo Scanning, Company Logo Creation, and Graphics Manipulation for Web or Other Media: Can be billed at $65.00 per hour, by bid, by contract, flat rate, or piece work. Generally the more work you have, the cheaper it gets per piece.

• Business Writing Services: $65.00 per hour. If you have a computer and know your product or service, it is much more cost effective for you to write the copy yourself and e-mail it to us. If this isn't an option, send what information you have on your product or service to us, so we can get the copy to your liking the first time around, again saving you money.

• Scripting or Data Based Programming: $90.00 per hour. Since this requires special knowledge, equipment, programs, and concentration levels the cost is higher. Our cost is still well under the National Average.

• Secure Server Site Certificate: (Secure Web Site) Please call and discuss this option prior to making the commitment with any Host Server. This can be an expensive option, and is not always necessary as we have alternatives available.

• Credit Card and Check Draft Handling: We have these options available on our servers, and it may be necessary for you to purchase if you have enough product to justify the monthly cost. Other options include PayPal^® & other free or low cost services like them. These may be better options for "new" and "start-up" web sites. Let us review these options with you prior to deciding on high cost alternatives.

• Billing & Payment Procedures:
  1. Hourly Billing: Is in quarter (¼) hour increments.

  2. Firm Bid: For Web construction or updates, will be given to customers who submit all material wanted on their website in the format agreed upon, prior to our bid. This bid amount then won't increase or decrease once approved, with provisions in bid. If revisions are anticipated in the construction or update process, the "Bid Estimate" below is a better option.

  3. Bid Estimate: Normally fairly accurate, however extra time will be billed, less time refunded. This format allows more flexibility for change without renegotiations.

  4. Flat Rate: Hours or Dollar Amount preset by customer, at which point work stops.

  5. Contract Rate: Similar to Flat Rate, but with more flexibility. Hours or amount may go over limit one or two months, but will average out over the year.

  6. Piece Work: Normally the most expensive, but for small jobs may be economical.

  7. Server Set Up & Web Hosting: Advance Payment Required

  8. Bid Amounts, Contract Accounts, Flat Rate Accounts, and Piece Work: Advance Payment Required

  9. Web Consultation, Construction, Design, Graphics, and Writing: 50% of estimate due prior to start of work. Balance of estimate due at approval of Site layout. Any additional billable hours payable at completion and customer acceptance of Web Site. Any exceptions to this paragraph will be noted in the estimate.
